there have been so many benefits of working with Ross and the team at Southside Presbyterian Church I think the the greatest one is I get an office which is a which is great I'm my own office but I think just being able to have a team to talk to where I can bounce my ideas off when I'm struggling to write my sermon that we can ask them on it do you have any illustrations I can use to illustrate this point things like that I really appreciate that but more than anything I've had to complain a lot and I don't know who to complain to and having a team here who who knows

how it feels or you know what it feels like to be a pastor in administra I don't say it make leather that talk to you about about what's on my heart and what's on my mind so yeah that's that's the greatest benefits just being able to work with the team if you're a planter who wants to look for a partnership or a mother church to support you I I would definitely say go for it and I think I think it's really important to have a team of people helping you think through what it means to be a pastor a church planter even I think it's hard though I

think there's gonna be times where you're gonna find out people will say no to you or people might not have the same idea as you do you might need to actually sell your vision a bit more so they can actually get on board with what you want to do and support that you need to be clear because I think everyone has a different agenda when it comes to these little things so I think that's really important to keep that in mind when you're approached a partner Church or mother Church who you asking to support you but I think yeah I think it's so worth it I think it's so worth it to have that because you don't want to be alone when you're doing this you

don't want to be venting just to your wife all the time about all your problems because she's gonna struggle too and so having a team and people who passes or a staff team who can talk to and just share that everyday struggles of being a church planter or pastor it's just helpful so I really think yeah go for it you should be looking for a partner treasure of Mother Church they can work with so you can go out there and flourish as you touch yourself
