Special: Pastoring - Leadership and Taking Heed
We know that being a church leader is a hard, complicated and joyous privilege, and that there are many facets to the role. In fact, one of the challenges and frustrations of pastoring is oen feeling like it’s about 17 roles in one—teacher, preacher, pray-er, counsellor, evangelist, theologian, strategic thinker, organisational leader, HR manager, administrator, accountant, photocopier technician and many more.
In this e-book we want to explore two particularly vital facets of pastoring. They are not the only two, and this is by no means a complete theology of ministry leadership. But these two aspects of what it means to be a pastor are (in our observation) oen misunderstood or neglected. Our hope and prayer is that by exploring them we can encourage and stimulate you to think afresh about what it means to be a ministry leader among God’s people.
