In 2025, Tom and Simone Kite will launch a new church, Vine Church, in Yarrabilba. This new area has huge growth potential. Most of those are young families seeking a vibrant community to raise their kids, affordable housing and ease of access to local amenities.
Yarrabilba is a Priority Development Area expected to house 50,000 residents over the next 20–30 years. Reach Australia have assessed and trained Tom and Simone so they are ready to launch their church plant next year.
Planting a church is a real stretch and a huge joint effort. We thank God with Tom & Simone for the partnerships that will make this church possible. The cost of the residency is $100k per year.Â
Like Paul asking for help to start a new church in Spain (Rom 15:23-29), we need your help to fund the training and launch of this new church. Would you consider giving a $500 or $1000 gift today to help make up the shortfall of $15,000?
The local church is God’s chosen vessel for his life-giving gospel. Yet, 56% of Australians say they don’t know anything about their local church. In the face of these challenges, church leaders are working harder than ever, but many of them report feeling insufficiently trained for the task.
The Reach Australia Conference pulls together church leaders across the country to equip one another to see our nation won for Christ. Your partnership through prayer and giving facilitates training and support and it’s changing the story of the Australian church. Together, under God, we can see thousands of healthy, evangelistic and multiplying churches.Â
God uses his people to provide for his kingdom work. If you want to see the difference your generosity is making you can read our Impact Report.
We thank God for you, in your faithful and generous partnership. We’re working and praying with you to see more people in a saving relationship with Jesus.Â
