Sunday was amazing! Over 170 adults and 35 kids were there. We had lots of well-wishers, including some pastors from local churches, which was a blessing!

We also had about a dozen people who do not follow Christ come along!

Kids church was about the gospel and they each got a gospel tract (along with some bubbles). We also had a jumping castle, popcorn and face painting, which made it super fun!

One girl found us through TikTok! We’d posted a few sermon videos almost a year ago and not really kept up the account.

She said she’d been away from church for years and when she heard about the new church launching next to her house, she felt compelled to come back.

Rockdale is a suburb with lots of diversity; Nepalese, Lebanese, Greek, Chinese and Indian. Karen and I are originally Lebanese and lived in Lebanon for most of our lives.

Moving and living in such a diverse area is great; we love the vibe, the food and the people!

The needs in Rockdale are the same as in every part of Australia – they need to know who Jesus is.

When Grace City Waterloo was planted over 10 years ago, the plan was always to plant more churches because there are millions of people across Australia that don’t know Jesus.

Our prayer is the Grace City Rockdale is just another step in that journey of introducing people to Jesus

Pray for our Alpha course that is starting up this week.

And pray that God would be powerfully at work through Grace City Rockdale, because it’s his harvest!
