Our vision is for church leaders around Australia working together to reach Australia for Christ.
The network is facilitated by a staff team and board in five states across Australia.

Bruce Bennett
Coach & Consultant
Bruce joined the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches as a chaplain in April 2021 after serving as the Senior Pastor of Orange Evangelical Church for many years.
Peter Blanch
Director of Grow
For 15 years Peter served as the planting and then Senior Pastor of Wagga Wagga Evangelical Church. In 2022 he started with Reach Australia as the Director of Grow. In this role Peter aims to help churches become more evangelistically urgent, theologically driven, practically skilled with spiritually vibrant leaders to work towards reaching the country for Christ.
Sarah Blanch
Wives Network - Coaching Supervision
Alongside Peter, Sarah aims to serve God’s church in each stage and situation in which God places them - finding her confidence in His gospel. This confidence drives her to support and train ministry wives through coaching and intensives, and to write children’s ministry programs that point kids to Jesus. Sarah is a member of Salt Church in Wollongong.
Aaron Boyd
Planting Mobiliser & Coach
Aaron is based in Melbourne and is part of the team that is responsible for recruiting and mobilising church planters across Australia, with a particular focus on Victoria. Prior to joining the Reach Australia team in 2024 Aaron spent 11 years planting and pastoring at Darebin Presbyterian Church in Thornbury, Melbourne. Aaron also plays a role in coaching church planters and leaders of established churches across Australia, and has some involvement with church consults.
Laura Brown
Administrator & Executive Assistant to Scott Sanders
Laura has a love for all things admin and has served in several organisations in this capacity, as well as being heavily involved in local and statewide youth ministry. She is a member of North Geelong Presbyterian Church in Victoria.
Luella Clark
Analyse Administrator
Luella supports the team of consultants who work with new and existing Churches to grow and evolve – to reach more and more people with the saving grace of Jesus Christ. She has served on staff as a ministry worker in the Trinity Network in Adelaide.
Phil Colgan
Board Member
Phil is the Senior Minister of St George North Anglican Church where he has served for 20 years. In addition to his role with Reach Australia, Phil serves on a variety of boards and committees including the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Sydney, the Chapter of St Andrew’s Cathedral and as the chair of the Nexus Ministry Conference. Phil’s great passion is to see people raised up and trained for gospel ministry which is why he serves with Reach Australia.
Anna Cox
Church Planting Assessments Manager & Administrator
Anna grew up in a ministry family and has been involved in churches her whole life, including a few church plants along the way. She worked in publishing before switching to ministry support roles and administration. Anna lives in Sydney’s inner west and attends Newtown Erskineville Anglican Church.
Jo Gibbs
Lead Consultant - Healthy Teams, Women in Leadership
Jo has 20+ years of church ministry experience in numerous church-based roles, for 11 years serving with the Church Missionary Society in South Asia, and as Chief Executive Officer of Anglican Deaconess Ministries. She joined the Reach Australia team in 2023 with a deep desire to see more healthy and effective teams in churches, and women mobilised for gospel ministry. She is based in Sydney and is part of St Matt’s West Pennant Hills.
Derek Hanna
Director of Church Planting
In 2009 Derek worked at Mitchelton Presbyterian and then planted Village Church in Brisbane. He then began working with Geneva Push to help see hundreds more churches evangelised into existence across Australia, and his work now with Reach Australia is to inspire, equip and unleash thousands of leaders in new churches across Australia to reach Australia.
Sue Harrington
Board Member
Sue has served within the Trinity Network of Churches in South Australia for over 33 years. She is married to Paul, the network pastor and has a ministry supporting the pastor’s wives and families and teaching women. Sue is a founding partner of LeMessurier Harrington Consulting which provides 925risk, practice management and business development services to the legal and medical professions. Sue has undertaken various roles within the Safe Ministry and Professional Standards area and is a former council member of Bible College of South Australia.
Rhett Harris
Senior Consultant
Rhett has just hit 30 years in vocational ministry. He's spent 22 years at EV Church, the last 15 overseeing the ‘Serve’ area, with its goal of mobilising people and leaders. Rhett is convinced that a key driver of church health and growth is building godly leaders. Rhett’s work at Reach is to work with church leaders to this end.
Andrew Heard
Board Chairman
Andrew has been involved in Christian ministry for over 25 years. In 1996, together with his wife Cathie, he established a new church on the Central Coast of NSW called Central Coast Evangelical Church (now EV Church). In 2005 he was elected the founding president of a new association of churches called the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches. In 2009 he became a founding director of Geneva Push and is now the board chairman of Reach Australia.
Cathie Heard
Director of the Wives Network
Cathie has been in church ministry with her husband for 30 plus years. In 1996, together with her husband Andrew, she established a new church on the Central Coast of NSW called EV Church. Cathie knows first hand the necessity of pastors wives being clear of the value they bring to gospel work in their homes and churches in what is otherwise a nebulous role. She's passionate about helping wives be released to serve God alongside their husbands with the joy and freedom that comes from having deep gospel convictions. Cathie runs coaching and intensives for wives, as well as helping out in the Leadership Development Program intensives for leaders and teams.
Peter Hughes
Resources & Planting Facilitator
Pete has over 25 years experience in professional ministry covering areas like church planting, university ministry and Anglican parish ministry. At Reach Australia he fulfils his passions of developing resources for gospel workers, including our podcasts, and helping to raise and develop the next generation of church planters. He’s a member of Kellyville Anglican church.
Emily Keris
Resources & Recruitment Facilitator
Emily has served in churches in the United States and Sydney. She balances deliberate and efficacious processes to ensure people are loved genuinely. Emily helps facilitate resources and relationships to support ministry workers.
Michael Lin
Board Member
Michael is a partner in Oilstone (equipping ministry leaders) and works as a director, business advisor and leadership coach. He has served in lay church leadership roles for over 30 years. He was the director of Geneva Push and is a former long standing board member of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students and Katoomba Christian Convention. Michael’s professional career includes senior executive positions with Macquarie Bank and Lend Lease Group and running family companies. He has also been a Program Director for Mt Eliza Business School (now Melbourne Business School) and senior leadership development consultant for the Australian Institute of Management.
Peter Luu
IT Manager
Peter is a pastor at Brisbane Cantonese Christian Church in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. He's passionate about seeing churches and ministries reach across cultures.
Mikey Lynch
Board Member
Mikey is the Campus Director of the University Fellowship of Christians, University of Tasmania, Hobart. Mikey was a founder of The Vision 100 Tasmanian church planting network and is currently a board member of The Geneva Push national church planting network. He is also the Editorial Director of The Gospel Coalition Australia and the chairman of New Front Door: the Church IT Guild. Mikey is the author of The Good Life in the Last Days: Making Choices When the Time Is Short (Matthias Media: 2018), The Vine Movement: Supporting Gospel Growth Beyond Your Church (Matthias Media: 2023).
Natasha Maier
Support Raising Manager
Natasha (or better known as Tish) loves seeing people be generous because of the generosity of God in Christ. She has a background in fundraising and marketing, but before that she worked in university student ministry in Slovenia and Australia. She works part-time with Reach Australia and studies part-time at Moore College. Tish attends St Thomas’ Anglican Church, North Sydney.
Gus McCowatt
Director of Mobilise
Gus is based in Sydney and is a part of St Faith's Anglican Church, Narrabeen. He looks after the Mobilise team at Reach Australia in seeing our network continue to grow. With over 15 years of experience in the advertising, marketing & non-profit sectors, he looks after the team driving the recruitment, marketing, fundraising & resources side of Reach Australia.
Peter Moore
Coach, Coaching Trainer and Supervisor
Peter has been a Presbyterian pastor since 1991 with 20 years of leadership in rural towns, regional cities and metropolitan congregations. He's been teaching in higher education since 2005 and currently lectures in Christian mentoring, supervision and coaching at Sydney Missionary and Bible College and Brisbane School of Theology. He invests one day a week as a coach, supervisor and trainer in the Reach Australia coaching unit, along with coaching various clients in Australia and New Zealand in his private Christian mentoring business. Peter attends Scots Presbyterian Church in Sydney.
Kwabena Nsiah
Church Analyst
Kwabena is responsible for coordinating church consults and analysing data provided from churches to facilitate a conversation about the health of the church. He is based in Western Sydney and is currently attending church at Multicultural Bible Ministry with a view of joining the new campus launching in Blacktown.
Andrew Robson
Senior Consultant
Andrew is based in Sydney and runs full church health consults and smaller specialised church consults. Andrew worked for 29 years in larger churches, 18 of them as Executive Pastor or General Manager, including St Paul’s Anglican Carlingford and EV Church. He has extensive experience in organising churches for health and growth, and has managed several large church construction projects. Andrew previously worked in strategy in the oil industry. He attends St Paul’s Anglican Church Carlingford.
Chris Rooleht
Church Consult Development
Chris is based in Sydney and is part of a new church plant in the Box Hill area. He has 10 years of ministry experience, and is passionate about developing healthy, high-functioning teams and leaders. Chris joined the Reach Australia team in 2023. He is part of the Analyse Team, with a particular focus on developing our church consults and helping ministry leaders make strategic, data-informed decisions.
Mike Sams
Coaching Facilitator & Consultant
Mike moved from Sydney to Adelaide in 2012 to be part of the Trinity Network of Churches and plant a church in the north of Adelaide. In 2020 Mike joined the Reach Australia team as a consultant. His passion for seeing coaching relationships bring the gospel to bear in the life of the coachee has seen him transition to taking responsibility for overseeing all of the coaching relationships in the network. Mike is part of Trinity Church Pooraka in Adelaide.
Scott Sanders
Executive Director
Scott Sanders is responsible for leading the team at Reach Australia’s to implement our network vision of 1,000s of healthy, evangelistic, multiplying churches. Scott has been involved in leading Geneva Push and Reach Australia since 2009. He lives in Sydney and is a member of Vine Church.
Tara Stenhouse
Supervision & Coaching - Women in Leadership
Tara has 20+ years of experience in women's ministry, including university ministry and theological education. In late 2023 she joined the Reach Australia team part-time to help develop and walk alongside women in leadership, as a coach and supervisor. Tara lives in the Shoalhaven (NSW) and is a member of All Saints Anglican, Nowra.
Maggie Tay
Coaching Administrator
Maggie worked as a registered nurse for six years before moving into events and admin with Reach Australia. Maggie lives in Brisbane and attends St Lucia Evangelical Church.
Steph Toose
Wives Network - Ministry Support
Steph spent some time working in ministry, firstly as a Women’s Pastor at Vine Church, Surry Hills, and then as a Families and Kids Pastor in Blenheim, New Zealand. Since having kids, she’s taken on a ministry support role, joining Reach in 2022 part-time. She works in the Wives Network, and loves being a part of supporting and training ministry wives for long-term gospel work.
Lisa Truong
Events Manager and Conference Director
Lisa is based in Sydney and attends Church at Ten (formerly SWEC) in Bankstown. After studying accounting, she transitioned into ministry training at her home church, engaging in local scripture teaching and campus evangelism. Since joining the Reach Australia team, Lisa has worn many hats, and now finds joy in weaving together all the elements of the national conference, ensuring it runs seamlessly and effectively, all to the glory of God.
Scott Ward
Reach Digital Manager
Scott is based on the Central Coast and attends Grace Church Peninsula. He leads the Digital team in developing the online presence of churches so they can reach their communities effectively. With a background of 7+ years helping businesses with their digital work, he enjoys deploying this skillset to further gospel work around the country.
